Top 10 Summer Beauty Products
My summer beauty routine is totally different than winter. As the seasons change so does the weather and because of that my skin does too. Below are my 10 must have summer beauty products.
1. Malin + Goetz Cleansing Oil.
Im obsessed with this cleanser but I ONLY use it at night! It's too heavy for me to use in the morning but its perfect for nighttime. It removes all of my makeup, even waterproof mascara. It leaves my face feeling clean but not dry or tight.
I usually am not a fan of beauty products that smell like food, but this is a huge exception. As soon as I open the bottle it's like a sensory overload of goodness. Honestly you're going to want to eat it. I try and use it once a week or before a date, it leaves my skin feeling like butter.
I discovered this Gem of a product at Sephora one day. I went in for something totally different and ended up leaving with a ton of things I didn't need, obvi. This ended up being my favorite new product that I bought. Whats great about these is that they don't slide off your face. I actually slept with it on and it didn't come off. My skin felt brighter and plumper the next morning.
Doing my hair is one of the most annoying and tedious things I have to do, so prolonging a blowout is something I find very important. I work the product through my hair and then braid. It adds great texture and holds my braid in place without bumps or frizz.
5. Is Clinical Cleansing Complex
This cleanser is actually great year round. My facialist in LA (Shani Darden) recommended it to me and I've used it for a few years now. Its mild but does the trick.
6. Fresh Sugar Sport Sunscreen
Sunscreen is something I'm not so good at remembering to use, I also hate the way traditional sunscreen feels on my skin, Its usually too think and leaves a weird film. This one is completely opposite from any sunscreen I've ever used. It glides on like a balm and is great on the go. I always keep one in my purse.
7. DDF Eye Cream by Dr. Howard Sobel
All around great eye cream I use morning and night after I wash my face, but before my moisturizer.
8. DDF Pore Minimizing Serum by Dr. Howard Sobel
I use this mainly on my T-zone underneath my moisturizer. It also works like a primer and helps my makeup last throughout the day.
9. Guerlain Four Seasons Bronzer
Hands down best bronzer. It's expensive but worth every penny. The compact comes with four different shades in it, that I also use to contour my face with. You can also use the different shades as eyeshadows. It really is the perfect compact.
10. Tarte BB Cream
This product is great because it doubles as a BB cream and full coverage foundation, depending on how much I use. I especially love this when I'm tan, because it doesn't leave any streaks and it blends really well.
