The Ice-Cream Experience

Sunday-Funday is meant to be a massive calorie-consuming day... at least for me and my friends. Sunday is the day where diets don't matter and calories don't count. I always say that there a serious obese girl dying to get out of me, and her day out is Sunday.  That being said, this Sunday my friends and I ventured out to the East Village in search of Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. You might have seen their ice cream trucks all over the city, L.A. and N.Y. There is usually an extremely long line around the block just to get a scoop of the tasty treat that is Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. I like to be adventurous and try the specials, so this week's was pretty much made for me!  The special was  "Mexican Birthday Cake" so I obvi had to try it. Chocolate, cinnamon, chili, and salt - it was heaven. And for those that happen to be vegan, there are vegan options and they actually happen to be really good (I tried a few).
